This work is practical by design.
The focus is on understanding how a business actually operates, not how it looks on paper. Systems are built to support real workflows. Automations are applied where they save time and reduce risk. Reporting is designed so owners can see what is happening without digging.
The goal is not more technology.
The goal is better use of what already exists.
North Branch Consulting is led by William Morgan.
William has spent a decade designing and supporting business systems using the Microsoft Power Platform and touching a plethora of other tools. His work includes building applications, automations, and reporting solutions for federal agencies such as the USDA, IRS, Department of Defense, and Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as enterprise and research organizations.
Over that time, he has worn many hats. Developer. Systems Architect. Analyst. Project Manager. Internal Consultant. Mentor. He has worked directly with c-suite executives and leadership teams, supported frontline staff, and translated complex requirements into tools people actually use.
That experience shapes how North Branch Consulting operates. Solutions are designed to be clear, durable, and understandable by the people who rely on them.
William is also an entrepreneur and small business owner.
He understands the pressure of wearing every hat, managing limited resources, and making decisions without perfect information. That perspective matters. Recommendations are grounded in real world constraints, not theory.
This work is not about telling owners what they should do. It is about helping them run their businesses with more confidence and less friction.
Large organizations and small businesses struggle with the same core issues. Disconnected tools. Manual workarounds. Data that exists but is hard to use.
The difference is scale.
North Branch Consulting applies enterprise level thinking with small business restraint. Systems are right sized. Costs are controlled. Nothing is built that cannot be clearly explained or maintained.
